Although Mason Crosby has not officially announced his retirement and the Packers not officially declaring that they are moving on from their franchises all-time leading scorer, it seems that the writing is on the wall that Crosby will not be returning to the Packers.
After buying his home in 2016 for $620,000, Mason Crosby has now sold his home for $1.35M, according to the Brown County land records. The five bedroom, five bath home resides on the west side of Green Bay, near Oneida Golf & Country Club.
After being drafted in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft, Mason Crosby worked his way up to become the Packers all-time leading scorer. He leads the team in field goals and extra points. Along with helping the Packers win Super Bowl XLV, he also led the NFL in field goals and points during his first season, along with leading the league in field goal perentage in 2020, going 16/16 on FGA.
With the drafting of Auburn kicker Anders Carlson, this should come as no surprise that the Packers may be looking to move on from Crosby. None-the-less, it is still surreal to think that Mason Crosby will no longer be the Packers kicker.
