Los Angeles Rams Try To Avoid "Frigid" Lambeau Field For 2023 Season

The Rams have traveled to Lambeau Field each of the last three seasons, losing all three of those contests.

Before the schedule release last week, the Rams submitted a request to the league that their matchup with the Packers be earlier in the season. Well, the league did NOT honor that request and therefor gave them a matchup with the Packers in Lambeau, on November 5th. The Rams would have preferred the game be played in September or October.

Now, to us midwesterners, November in general is not a "frigid" month. November 5th, obviously being at the beginning of the month, it's shorts and hoody weather. I remember being at a game in Lambeau back in 2019, facing the then, Washington Redksins. It was early December, but it was sunny and 50 degrees at kickoff. In my opinion, perfect weather for some afternoon football.

Bottom line is, the Rams did not want to play the Packers at this time but the league did not feel any sympathy. Whether this was a weather related request, or something different, we'll never know. Regardless, I'm looking forward to a hopefully 4th straight victory in as many years against the Los Angeles Rams.
