The Green Bay Packers have 28 individuals who have been inducted to the NFL Hall of Fame, second most to the Bears who have 30.
Here are the top-5 Packers who have yet to break the barrier.
1.Sterling Sharpe
If Sterling Sharpe didn't suffer the injury that ended his career, he would have easily been in the Hall of Fame by now. During his seven seasons in Green Bay, he was a Pro Bowler five times, and was an All-Pro three times. The neck injury towards the end of the 1994 season ended his career far too early.
2. Mike Holmgren
Mike Holmgren took over as the Packers head coach in 1992, and help make Brett Favre into the great quarterback he was. During his time in Green Bay, he led the Packers to an overall 75-37 record in the regular season, and a 9-5 record in the postseason. He coached the Packers to their first Super Bowl win in 30 years in 1997.
3. Ahman Green
No Packers running back has ever run for more yards than Ahman Green. He leads the Packers in all-time rushing with 8,322 yards, and also leads the Packers in single-season rushing with 1,833 yards when he did so in 2003. Green was named to the Pro Bowl four times and was an All-Pro in 2001.
4. Donald Driver
Taken in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft, Donald Driver worked his way up to the Packers all-time leading receiver with 10,137 yards. He also had 743 receptions and 61 TD. Driver was selected to the Pro Bowl four times and helped lead the Packers to Super Bowl XLV.
5. Larry McCarren
Although the Packers teams that Larry played on weren't that great overall, he was a phenomenal offensive lineman and a 2X pro bowler. Larry also played in 162 consecutive games and was an iron man for those Packer teams.
